Increase Instructional Times Board Action

Motion 1:

Approved motion to direct the superintendent to negotiate with labor groups to expand hours where possible, make Fridays required for those not meeting all state standards with rigorous structured instruction.

Motion 2:

Approved motion to direct the superintendent to explore options to develop a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday.

Approved motion to direct the superintendent to increase hours throughout the week where possible, and to make Fridays rigorous structured instruction focused on individualized learning for all students with legally allowable exceptions.
