Central Linn Elementary

Central Linn Elementary, built in the 1930s, serves around 250 students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. Our dedicated team includes 13 certified and 15 classified staff who work to educate and support our students. The school also hosts an Early Literacy Program designed to prepare 3- and 4-year-olds for kindergarten. Additionally, Central Linn Elementary offers both before- and after-school care.

Welcome!

March of 2025 marked the start of my 38th year in education and I couldn’t be happier to be here at Central Linn working with an amazing group of teachers, students and families.

Over the last 36 years I have spent time as an EA supporting reading and special programs, teaching 4th-6th grade, k-8 science and technology instruction, a district behavior specialist and the last 6+ years as a building administrator. I have had the opportunity to learn from some amazing educators and I enjoy passing on what I have learned to others.

When I’m not at work I love spending time with my wife of more than 30 years, Julie. Since our children are now grown and living their own lives, Julie and I are starting to find a passion for travel. When we aren’t camping or hiking along the Oregon coast we are planning our next trip out of the state of Oregon. Whether we are flying or driving to our next destination, it is always certain to be an adventure! I think our most crazy trip was our three day cross country trip which took us from Albany to Florida! Three thousand miles in three days might have been a little much!

I look forward to continuing to meet families, community members and alumni from Central Linn. Together we can create a school that will provide the best possible education for all of our students. If we haven’t met, please stop in and say hi. If we have already met, please stop in and say hi again.
