Brownsville Community Open Art Show & Contest - June 1, 2013

Everybody — and we mean EVERYBODY — is invited to enter creative art in the Brownsville Art Association's annual Community Open Art Show and Contest.  If you live in Linn County, you're eligible: adults, children, professional or non-professional.

Art work in every category — except photography, computer-generated art, video, or performance art — is encouraged. For complete information click here.

Artists may submit one piece of creative work to the Brownsville Art Center (255 Main St. next to City Hall) on Saturday, June 1st, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Pioneer Dam Run - 10K Run, 5K Walk/Run - June 22, 2013

Pioneer Dam Run, will be held Saturday, June 22nd (Pioneer Picnic weekend), at 8 a.m. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Central Linn High School track refurbishment fund.
