Guidelines
For security purposes, you must obtain your PIV username and password in person at your student’s school. A signed PIV login verification page and Confirmation of PIV Guidelines form must be submitted to the office. Students must have written parent or guardian consent by submitting a signed Student PIV Permission form to receive their login information.
Please review the PIV Quick Reference Guide and these guidelines prior to your in-person visit at the school to keep your wait time minimal.
As soon as you receive your login and password, you may log in to the PIV webpage.
Please remember:
- Student attendance and current assignments should be updated DAILY.
- Grades will be updated every TUESDAY morning.
- Lesson plans will be updated every MONDAY morning. Lesson plans, homework and assignments may be subject to change due to class pace or unforeseen scheduling conflicts.
- The PIV service is not meant to replace direct communication between students/parents/teachers or other school staff members. If you have questions about any of the information, please discuss them with your student first. Then have your student discuss it with his/her teacher(s). If you need further clarification, please contact the school or your student’s teacher.
Security
Once you receive your letter containing login information, keep your letter in a safe place to refer to if you forget your username and/or password. Another “in-person” visit to your student’s school will be required to retrieve this information. Your (and your student’s) information is confidential.
NOTE: Upon verification that a PIV username or password has been compromised, access through that account is to be immediately disabled by the designated school personnel.
